With Healthier Workplace WA's support, Oscar Naval established a best practice work health and wellbeing progrm that has earned "Gold" status in the 'Recognised Healthy Workplace' program.

Oscar put togeter a comprehensive, with a stron mix of policies, supportive environments and education and activities that encouirages workers to adopt healthy lifestyle behaviours such as:

• Participation in the TravelSmart Workplace Program, resulting in almost all employees using public transport and an increase in bike use.
• End-of-journey facilities, including free bike cages, daily lockers, drying rooms, ironing facilities, showers and a towel service Working with the Healthy Choices, Healthy Futures Program to increase the supply and sale of healthier food and drink choices in vending machines.
• Incentives to encourage healthy lifestyles including Rebel Sport vouchers, boxing gloves and cinema tickets.
• Provision of free fresh fruit and vegetables.
• Free yearly baseline health assessments and flu shots.
• Stretch/yoga classes and discounted gym registrations.
• Participating in physical activity challenges including the "Get on Track Challenge".
• Providing resources including the 'LiveLighter' fact sheets, 'Australian Guide to Healthy Eating' magnets and developing their own resource titled 'More reasons to eat veggies'.
• Education seminars and presentations as well as Intranet educational postings on a wide range of health topics.
• Offering a free information and support service, Healthier Workplace WA, Cancer Council WA, and Heart Foundation.
